Great day on the Water Today! 5/16

I had the good fortune to fish with Capt. Billy Bice this morning as we both had a couple of hours to kill for some fun fishing. Many of you know Capt. Billy Bice from his great contribution to the kids Red, White and Blue Fishing Tournament here on St Simons.  Well Captain Billy made me feel like a kid today …cuz he just plain whupped me. Billy caught the first fish, last fish, biggest flounder and biggest trout. The speck was a beauty at just over 20”, that Billy quickly released. We threw artificials all day and most fish came on the Bomber Long A and Gulp Swimming mullet. It was a great day on the water with one of SSI’s finest! And Capt. Billy became also became the newest member on the Flounder Pounder team…t-shirt on the way!
